Steve began his career as a teacher in 1981 as a Technology Education teacher. He has taught school in South Dakota, Minnesota and Massachusetts before relocating to New Hampshire. He took a break for teaching from 1986 to 1991 and worked construction in the Sunapee area. He currently teaches full time in the Mascoma Valley Regional School District.

 

In 2001 he began his driver education teaching while still teaching Technology Education. He taught 9 years with Mascoma High School Driver Education before opening Sunapee Driving School in 2010.
